Note: The Notion app in the ChatGPT app directory no longer supports sync. If you've previously connected the Notion app with sync functionality, your connection continues to work. New users can connect the Notion app from the ChatGPT app directory for file search functionality.
This article remains in place for users who have previously connected the Notion app with sync.
The Notion app with sync enables ChatGPT users and workspace members to securely ask questions and get answers directly from their Notion Workspaces and Pages. Connections can be created, deleted, or modified at any time. Once enabled, ChatGPT will automatically reference your Notion content when relevant.

Capabilities and Permissions
What it can access
Supported: Notion pages under authorized workspaces
Not Indexed: Non‑document content such as images and videos.
What it can do
Read‑only access to your Notion pages.
Supports periodic syncing so ChatGPT can reference your authorized Notion pages in chat.
No write or modify actions.
Known Limitations
Sync time depends on your Notion content size (may take up to several hours depending on volume)
If permissions change in Notion, updates may take effect after the next sync.
